Article: terra / raw : Freedom in Form

terra / raw : Freedom in Form

I imagined terra / raw as a completely evolving design chapter. All pieces will share this common name, but they will arrive on the website in small, strictly limited editions — in waves driven solely by momentary inspiration.

I wanted every new object to function as a small, unique sculpture within a space, without losing its utilitarian and functional value. Although this first wave introduces cups and tiered stands, terra / raw will evolve over time, bringing new and diverse forms that will visually elevate your space while remaining a part of your daily rituals.

Every single piece in this collection is unique. All objects are hand-formed using the pinch and coil technique, completely freehand. Because of this, the clay retains its raw, natural character, permanently capturing the trace and energy of my hand's direct touch within the texture of each work.

Working with stoneware in such small series allows me to fully devote myself to each object, giving it deep meaning and uncompromising authenticity. Alongside the limited editions, I also embrace the possibility of occasionally releasing a single, completely unique, sculptural yet functional piece — created as a one-of-a-kind exclusive for collectors and true lovers of form.

The organic, imperfect, and raw lines of these works were born from the idea of celebrating small, mindful everyday rituals. I dedicate this collection to individuals who, in today’s age of overproduction, consciously choose to slow down. These are objects made for those who do not seek to accumulate things, but instead wish to fill their homes with authentic art that carries a story.
